 Stabilized-insulated rammed earth is beautiful and warm. It is a durable, nontoxic, and sustainable building material.
It outperforms conventional buildings thermally,
is very low maintenance, and is created from local raw materials.
 The thick walls, comprised of subsoils, a small amount of cement, and reinforcing steel, are engineered to withstand
earthquakes. An insulation core prevents heat loss and creates a warm high mass interior. Soils are mixed on site
and pneumatically compacted in state of the art aluminum formwork. Natural pigments may be added to the soils. The
reusable forms are removed revealing unique walls that are essentially stone.
